SnowBunnys is an Independent Backpackers Hostel in the centre of Kitzbuhel in the Kitzbuheler Alps area of the Austrian Tirol.
On 30 January, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the novel coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, a ?Public Health Emergency of International Concern?. Please check the ?WHO global advice?,? as well as your governmental or health advisory departments for travel guidance and health advice before travelling. We urge all customers to take the necessary precautions to stay safe and travel responsibly. The safety of our guests is of paramount importance to us, therefore we’ll keep this page up to date with information which may affect your stay. Currently bookings made during the quarantine date will be cancelled. Once quarantine has been lifted there will be security measures placed until the COVID-19 crisis has disappeared. How to amend or cancel your booking Given these unique circumstances we are making the following adjustments to our booking terms and conditions: All reservations from 1. May 2020 until further notice Don’t cancel, postpone your stay. Contact the hostel to re-arrange a future stay. ? Individual Reservations – Private rooms will be bookable (unless the quarantine has extended). Individual bookings for budget bunk or mixed dorm room might be cancelled if there are no individual rooms available, as we are trying not to further the spread by mixing. ? Group Reservations (6 or more people) – bookings that consists no more than 5 people will be accepted. If a booking makes multiple bookings (of more than 5) under different names and the groups know each other the bookings will be charged and cancelled. ? Third-party Bookings. If you need to adjust reservations made via a Third Party booking website you will need to contact them directly for assistance. Any arrivals that appear to be ill won’t be allowed on the premises. Please understand we take this situation serious and will cancel any bookings that don’t withhold the safety of other guests and staff. Future bookings At this point we will not be taking any recreational bookings for arrival between now and the end of April 2020. (this might change) We will keep these positions under review and will continue to follow Government advice on responsible travel. We will update changes via social media, emails and through this statement. Are you concerned that you have Coronavirus? First off, check whether you have the symptoms: A cough, high temperature and a shortness of breath. If you have symptoms, we shouldn’t need to tell you that it’s a good idea not to travel. Even if you are young, fit and healthy (and likely to shake the virus off), you should minimise any risk to others, who may be more vulnerable. The advice across all impacted countries is to self-isolate, so please be conscious of this and do all you can to contain the virus. Hostels do all they can to keep backpackers safe, so if you are displaying symptoms please understand they may ask you to make alternative plans.
