Huber Brau Brewery St Johann – Stunning Views from top of the Tower Restaurant & Bar
The Huber Brau Brewery St. Johann in Tirol goes back to the year 1727. It has been under the management of the Huber family since 1883 – now in the fourth generation.
Where it says Huber Brau Brewery St Johann, there is the traditional art of brewing.
This is the case today and was no different in the past. That is why Günther Huber continues to rely on the proven recipe for success: preservation of the value of the good and further development of the unadulterated.
Our classics: The St. Johanner Original, the Spezial, the Meisterpils, the Augustinus and not to forget our wheat beer, which can hold a candle to even Bavarian celebrities in tough competition. (‘Sorry Munich!).
Many people drink our beer into old age or drink our beer and reach old age. In any case, our range is calibrated for all tastes and offers a wide selection of exquisite and excellent specialties.
Choose from our range above and find out more about “The beer from here”!
The beer tower at the Huber Brau Brewery St Johann measures exactly 27 m and offers a panoramic view over St. Johann in Tirol to the Kitzbüheler Horn, the Wilder Kaiser and far into the valley basin. In this respect, enjoying beer up here puts you in a real high mood. As an institution in the district, it is a highlight that unites peoples and peoples and gives life a simple but wonderful break. And if you have never eaten a goulash with bread dumplings here, one of the tastiest sightseeing tours is still ahead of you.
Let’s be honest: Dialog on curled catfish pudding is not ours. For this we offer hearty and high-quality specialties. From here, but also from here and there in the region. Natural ingredients from proven suppliers and dogged quality standards make the high-rise a tasty counterpoint for the culinary art elite.
With this in mind: leaf through, get funny and stop by!

Kitzbühel resort is a vast skiing area with 170km of groomed slopes and 32km of off-piste routes that connect several villages; the biggest being Jochberg and Kirchberg. Thanks to some pretty fast lifts and a relatively new gondola stretching across a wide valley, it’s easy to ski the different areas in one day and makes for some excellent touring around. The mountain and ski map can be a bit confusing at first – lifts are grouped by letters based on their location. But once you start to find your way around there’s some awesome skiing and boarding to be had. One of the great things about the runs is that there is often an easy and a hard way down, meaning groups of varying abilities don’t have a hard time riding the same lifts together. Most visitors staying in Kitzbühel will catch the Hahnenkamm gondola from town and then continue to travel up to skiing the Pengelstein area. There are some awesome, long, tree-lined runs down to Kirchberg and the smaller villages of Aschau and Skirast while the further away areas of Wurzhöhe, (connected to Pengelstein by the impressive 3S gondola) Bärenbadkogel and Resterhöhe areas are sunny and less crowded. Just make sure you leave enough time to get back across the valley if you’re staying at Kitzbühel. Advanced skiers will find some great steep skiing under the Steinbergkogel and Ehrenbachöhe lifts and plenty of other stashes of powder off-piste (if the conditions are good). There’s endless terrain to keep all levels of intermediates happy, including on the Kitzbüheler Horn side of the mountain. There’s a beginner nursery with free lifts in town at the base of the Hahnenkamm so given it’s so low it’s prone to poor snow conditions. When there’s no snow, beginner lessons are taken up on Kitzbüheler Horn and it has some great intermediate slopes to progress to – the drawback of the Horn being its location away from the main slopes. In summary Kitzbühel is not ideal for beginners. With our central location there is a ring bus that takes you from Snowbunnys Hostel direct to the Lift Stations at the Hahnenkamm or Hornbahn, alternatively it is a 5 minute walk to eitther.
